Cookie Policy
Last updated: 21 April 2026.
This policy explains what cookies and similar technologies AIGIUS B.V. ("AIGIUS", "we") uses on aigius.com and why. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time. We also cover here comparable technologies such as local storage and pixel beacons.
2. Our approach
We run a deliberately quiet website. We do not use advertising cookies, behavioural-profiling cookies, or third-party analytics that identify individual visitors. No cookie banner is shown because we do not set any cookie that requires consent under the EU ePrivacy Directive.
3. Cookies we may set
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|
NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers your selected language (EN / NL). | 1 year | Strictly necessary |
aigius_session | Keeps you signed in to the product console. Only set after login, never on the public website. | Session | Strictly necessary |
No tracking, advertising, or social-media cookies are set by AIGIUS or embedded third parties on the public website.
4. Server logs vs. cookies
We process short-lived server logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamps) for security and abuse-prevention purposes. These are not cookies but are described in section 3.2 of our Privacy Policy.
5. Changing your preferences
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Because our cookies are strictly necessary, blocking them will only affect the language switch and your product login session.
6. Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce optional cookies, we will first publish an updated policy here and present a compliant consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
